Invigorating Foot Soap
As seen on the Sonoran Living program.

Custom scented foot soap that invigorates the feet and brings them back to life! This recipe is EASY!!! It pairs well with the Invigorating Foot Cream.

The soap uses an unscented liquid glycerin soap base that can be found at Trader Joe’s and health food stores. The essential oils used are all easy to find and not too expensive. They will make the feet tingle and come alive! This makes for a quick and inexpensive little gift to give to those you love who seem to be on their feet all the time.

Keep your eye out for little bottles and start collecting them. That way you will always have one on hand when you need one and it won’t take an extra trip to find one. Also, experiment with different stickers and labels or cards. Use waterproof makers like Sharpie. You can find them in a variety of colors at an office store. I also like to use a gold or silver paint pen for highlights when I am feeling festive and have the time to decorate my labels.

Make several of these to give as gifts and remember to keep one for yourself!

NOTE: This soap is also good for an invigorating shower or bath for the whole body. It will make the whole body have a fresh tingle to it!

Ingredients:
1 12oz. Trader Joe’s unscented liquid glycerin soap
4 oz. filtered water
1 tsp.
(about 80 drops)
Peppermint essential oil
1/2 tsp.
(about 40 drops)
Rosemary essential oil
1/2 tsp.
(about 40 drops)
Lavendar essential oil
assorted bottles 2oz – 4 oz in size
  labels *

Method:

Put liquid soap and water in a large (4 cup) glass measuring cup. Add the essential oils and stir well. Pour into bottles, using a funnel if needed. Make sure jars are clean and not slick with soap by washing them in warm water and then dry them. Put on labels. Directions to use: Wash feet well in warm water with Foot Soap using a washcloth to get between toes and to scrub the feet. Dry the feet well. Put a liberal amount of cream on feet and put on socks. Go to bed or put your feet up and read a book. Ahhhh!

*Label Idea: Put a simple label on the bottles with just the name of the soap and then make a little card with the instructions to tuck in with the bottle. I like using my computer for the direction cards and I print them on perforated business card sheets. That way I can print out several cards at once and it saves me a lot of writing.

Enjoy!
