This recipe makes a large quantity, you can easily reduce the amounts, but you may find that it is handy to have a few extra jars because they make nice gifts.
I have talked about Lavender many times. In fact we did another Lavender Honey. The receipe is on my web site. Click here to see it, though I feel this new recipe is better!

Ingredients:
| 32 oz. |
honey |
| 2/3 cup |
lavender dried lavender blossoms |
Method:
Gently heat honey. When hot, the lavender will be liquified. Stir the dried lavender into the honey, Turn off the heat and cover. Let steep for 1-2 hours. Reheat the honey to get it back into a liquid state and then strain it through a strainer lined with cheesecloth. Pour it into decorative jars and label. Enjoy!
Some delicious ways to enjoy Lavender Honey are:
- Brie with Lavender Honey and Toasted Almonds
- Stirred into your favorite hot tea.
- Dip apples into it (messy, but oh so yummy!)
- On toast with almond butter
- Use it in place of regular honey in any recipe for a little lavender twist.
Enjoy!
